A quick update from the woods: As we head into November, the weather can change any day. At this time of year in Colorado, us bikers are “burning daylight.” As a matter of fact, we are expecting colder temperatures and snow later this week. I just seized the opportunity and took a nice spin on the local trails at Ute Valley Park. What a beautiful day it was – the trails were in great shape, and the temperatures were in the upper 50s. Perfect conditions!
The weapon of choice today was the Specialized Camber Pro – my first “29r.” After an hour and a half of trail and a Camelbak full of Skratch Labs drink mix, I packed it up, turned on my iTunes “FastRock” playlist and headed up to the hill to the house. It was a great day to get out in the woods, clear my head and get ready for a busy week. Cheers!
